I saw this when Bernard developed it. What I didn't like was the throttle mechanism is on the firewall where as the carburettor is on the engine. Between the two you have the engine mount so the engine will move independently of the throttle mechanism. For me that was not acceptable.
How has it worked in practice?

It works brilliantly. I do not use the throttle stop on the carburettor, my throttle stop is on the firewall. engine movement is minimal and does not influence throttle setting in that relative positions are fixed. In practice, it is the best thing I ever did to my aircraft. Unfortunately, bernard's documentation was scarce and some parts required further development (parts list and some of the dimensions) but it was a great starting point for what is now a very worthwhile mod.
