I can confirm that the CAMIT engine is not subject to the operational limitations described in 292/14, as this engine is not manufactured by a person under licence from, or under a contract with Jabiru.

CAMit engines are not LAA approved. You can fit one but would have to submit an LAA modification and approval request. It would be a good alternative as they are not under the CASA instrument/limitation. With fees increasing shortly and processes changing at the LAA, it may be worth doing that quickly.

Was just wondering. If I fitted a new engine it would not be anything that resembled a jab, prob a D motor
