Microair 760 repairs

Postby hazelmchase » Fri Mar 20, 2015 7:03 pm

If anyone needs a radio repair, I just thought I'd let folks know I have purchased Alan's Spares and technical information. Although I think most folks now are just upgrading to 8.33 spacing transceivers. I have a VHF oscilloscope, a Bird 43 Wattmeter, frequency counters, signal generators and of course, a VHF radio license on my NPPL! Plus a lot of spares for 760 radios.

Good to know. Perhaps you should send us a banner and we will display it along with the other ads for six months free!

If its possible I would like mine done. Microair said they could not be done and were not planning an upgrade for them.
If you can do it, what will be the cost?
How do we go about certification?
Will it pass ofcom?
Laa pass?

What needs to be done, simple mod or a piggy back board

Microair radio
No bells and whistles
Its been like this for 13 years, what I cannot see I cannot worry about in flight.....

What sort of cost are you expecting?
