imperial hex (Allen) driver bits for torque wrench

Postby bpb100 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 10:34 pm

I would be grateful for some advice on where to get imperial size long reach hex key drivers - to fit into a socket that I can use with a torque wrench. I can only find metric ones. The particular ones I need at present are 3/16'' and 1/4''. I would need them to be at least 35mm long and preferably more. I have thought of cutting the 'L' end off my existing hex keys but I am not sure that I have a cutter up to the job. Thanks for any advice.

Try Paul at parts4aircraft. He used to stock long allen keys for head bolts.

Thanks for that - I have now made my own by cutting off the 'L' from two normal Allen keys.
